Orem is a very friendly place that growing very quickly. They have more stores than you could ever ask for that offer reasonable prices. There are lots of parks and other recreation programs in which you can participate, and the traffic is manageable. The public schools are great. In fact the high school I went to (Timpanogos) is known to be the best high school for academics in the state. I felt pretty safe in this city, but you still have to be careful at night. The police force are very kind and on top of things which I am very grateful for. This was a wonderful city to live in and I definitely recommend it!

Living in Orem, Utah, has been a fanomenal experience. Nominated as the safest city in Utah and the 24th safest city in the nation, according to the Deseret News, Orem maintains a unique feeling of security. Along with a safe environment, Orem has a beautiful communal environment, in which one gladly helps another. These elements of Orem create an exceptionally family friendly city; ideal for many diverse peoples and families to live in. The public schools in Orem are far better than the ones that I’ve attended outside of Orem, but if I could improve Orem in one specific aspect, I would rebuild some of the older schools, especially elementary schools, that are not the safest places structurally. Luckily, the Alpine School District has already initiated many rebuilding projects of these elementary schools. Overall, Orem is a great city with a strong community, low crime rates, and good schooling.
Orem Utah is a very exciting place to live right now. Over the last few years, the city has been growing extremely fast. A major factor to that is the growth of Utah Valley University. UVU is great university that offers many degrees, has a great staff, and is open enrollment which allows many more people an opportunity to gain a college education. I am a student at UVU

With people pouring in from all over the country, Orem provides a great diverse culture, for those that find that important. For those who want a great place to live, Orem is one of the most family friendly places in the country. This has to do with the large religious influence in the region. For those looking for business, business is thriving in this area, I see new buildings all the time!

Orem offers activities for all age groups. From sports, to late night outings, there is always something to do. Orem is home of the great University Mall which offers just about everything to satisfy your shopping needs.
