Something I loved about growing up in Oregon is that everyone knows everyone. You can be across town and still know who everyone is. Not to mention, although our town is small, there's a lot of places to adventure through. You can pick one of our many sets of woods to venture through and maybe even find a campsite. Something I'd like to see change in Oregon is more things to do for teenagers. We do have a drive-in and a rec center, but not much else. It'd be cool to have an arcade or even a local pool.

I have lived in the Oregon area for the past four years and it has been steadily growing every day. The city recently re-did the intersection by the hospital and it looks really nice. It is well lit and the landscaping is wonderful. I enjoy Oregon because there are a lot of different choices when it comes to restaurants. 3 new restaurants just opened up this year. I think that Oregon needs to clean up their grocery stores. We have 3 different choices for stores. 2 of the 3 stores have recently upgraded their stores which is nice. The 3rd store just started upgrades this week so things are continuing to look up for Oregon. Working in the nursing homes around the area, i would like to see some money put into it to allow residents and their families to enjoy a beautiful, odor free, place to leave.
Oregon, Ohio is a good little suburban town next to Toledo. The school is a great facility and they offer many opportunities. Since it is so close to Toledo, many Oregon citizens are exposed to Toledo Walleye Hockey games, Toledo Mud Hens baseball games, events at the Huntington Center, etc. It is also very close to Lake Erie so citizens are exposed to many outdoor activities.
