I have lived in Opelika most of my life. I love the small town atmosphere and community. There are lots of opportunities for involvement in sports, arts, culture, volunteering, and more. The restaurants and shopping are great, especially downtown! We have loved the Opelika School System and have been impressed with the quality of the teachers and administration. Opelika is a diverse, beautiful, eclectic little town that doesn't get enough credit! So much to offer!

Opelika is a small yet growing community that is forever evolving. It's diversity and small town feel attracts the most amazing individuals. As a community, we look out for one another and others. We love our southern food and football (High school & college). Everyone here has their favorite eatery and hangout spot that is shared with family and friends. The school system is amazing and devotes itself to making sure that parents and students stay involved. This is a wonderful and charming community. WAR EAGLE!
Opelika is considered a rural area located north of Auburn, AL and known for a family oriented society. The town is slowly growing with the support of it's nearby metropolitan college town Auburn. There are many local family owned businesses and many of the people know one another. Opelika is centrally located in the southeast making larger cities like Atlanta, Birmingham, and Montgomery very easy to commute to all within 2 hours of travel one way.

The school system has always been ranked and passing accreditation standards and benchmarks. Sports remain a competitive market for other divisional schools.
