Oostburg Reviews
Rating 3.59 out of 5 27 reviews
Most of my experience are slightly dated, as I just moved back to the area. It is a very small town; I believe it is still technically classified as a village. Predominantly Republican, along with all the stereotypes that go with it. It does have a small selection of stores, and the highway exit area is becoming more diverse in its options.
Oostburg is a nice close-knit community, however it is very bigoted and close minded. It's nice if you can find a group of like minded people but if not it'll be miserable.
Born and raised hear, now raising my family here. The community is one that stands behind its families. If one family or even businesses if they need help or support the community. We have families from out of the area that will bring the children to the school district because of the education and sports teams. Most of my wife's side of the family also relocated to the village to all be closer.
