I bought a home in the southern part of Ontario in mid 2019. Prior to that I was only somewhat familiar with the northern part of the city. The area I am in now is still developing. More housing, retail, and recreation are planned in the coming years to replace the acres of dairy and farmland still here.

Overall I am happy with my experience in Ontario. Housing is still somewhat affordable compared to areas closer to Los Angeles and Orange county. My interactions with the local police have been positive and I feel there is a good level of diversity in the area im at. Ontario is in a good location on the map as it is not far from LA, Orange, and Riverside counties. Three major freeways run thru it and there is a major airport here as well. There is a good base of warehouse and distribution center jobs as well as office type jobs here. The downside of all the warehouses is the high amount of big rig traffic on the surface streets. I feel pretty safe where i'm at

Ontario is a humble city with many secret dives as well as high-exposure destinations. The convention center hosts a large array of events that can be found online. Like any other city, Ontario has its good and its bad. Not the richest of cities, the better part of Ontario’s residency accommodation is still only average at best when compared to its neighboring cities of Rancho Cucamonga or Chino Hills. Certain areas of Ontario seem to have been under construction for years, with no end in sight. Pot-holes are the bane of existence for every commuter trying to get to the 10 freeway from Vineyard Blvd. Prioritizing construction completion would make Ontario so much more aesthetically pleasing and convenient.
Nice, peaceful neighborhood. Lots of activities nearby. There's basketball courts, soccer parks, skateboard parks, bike trails, and more. City is located close to the Mall, grocery stores, and other shopping areas so great central location. Public schools are located near housing so students can easily walk if needed. There is also a lot of diversity within the neighborhood ranging with Hispanics, Bengalis, Asians, African Americans, Indians, and Caucasians. Many new businesses as well as new homes are being built. This city is constantly growing.
