I absolutely love Olympia Heights. It is a calm suburban neighborhood in the heart of Miami, FL. The best part is that you're in-between two major highways, this makes your commute around South Florida much easier. Our neighborhood is fairly calm, besides the usual teenagers just having fun. The neighbors are well-informed about suspicious crime and lost pets through social media apps. The public schools are great, I went to Glades Middle school and I had absolutely no problems or complaints. I would recommend this area to anyone looking to move to Miami.
I have been living around this area for majority of my life and I love it. The neighborhood is very safe and the people living in the area is super friendly. The atmosphere of Olympia Heights is very calm and family friendly and I would recommend anyone to live here.
Violence wise it isn't a bad area, people wise it could be so much better. The people in this area are rude, and angry, they're not content with their lives so they come to work and take it out on their co workers or their customers. I feel as if the minute you get out of miami the atmosphere is completely changes. The people become friendlier, the atmosphere isn't a nuisance. It's a love hate relationship for Miami. It is not all bad though, you have diversity, in cultural backgrounds, different ethnic groups, and a lot of people who love the same sex. And that to me is beautiful.
