- Town in Connecticut
Old Saybrook Reviews

Oppressive police Department, poor roads, summertime overcrowding, lots of bars and restaurants, nice people away from the beaches, overall starting to resemble Clinton.
Small coastal town with all the great things! Just enough stores to keep you local and perfect approximation to anything else you will ever need. The people are friendly and very welcoming!
Quiet neighborhoods, wonderful restaurants, convenient shopping, friendly people, great schools, close access to highways, ocean and water sports are steps away
A very beautiful and peaceful place to live. Not far home other more "exciting" towns and cities for younger adults to find more entertainment other than the beaches, small hiking trails, restaurants and small bars, mini-golf course, a few different ice-cream places or the froyo shop and small shopping centers that Old Saybrook has to offer. The Best part about Old Saybrook is the lack of traffic during the school year and seeing the town come to life in the summer, with the population tripling, causing a bit more congestion in the towns center, but it's still worth it if you love boating to live in Old Saybrook because you can always get to the shore to relax in just a few minutes.
Lovely small town on the coast of Connecticut. Enjoy sunny days on the water! Old Saybrook has a large variety of stores and restaurants to fit everyone!!
Our initial draw to Old Saybrook was the schools and their amazing educators. We have grown to love and appreciate all the town has to offer families in the way of community activities, outreach and engagement.
Beautiful and welcoming beach town, full of history and old charm. It's becoming slightly more commercial in recent years since I've returned from college and that's slightly disheartening. However, the New England charm is overflowing and the best time to visit in the autumn.
I live here, it's like any place in the United States. It has nice people and mean people, good people and bad people.
Phenomenal town to raise a family in. Great schools and support programs, very safe, and nearly everything is accessible by sidewalk.
The public schools in Old Saybrook, Connecticut are great. They are not free from your average high school problems since it is a small school, but the teachers prepare you for college. The emergency services are always ready for anything to happen and have good response times. The town is also well versed in shops and grocery stores. Beautiful scenery and beautiful beaches. It feels like a big town with a small town scenery. Many small business owners and there is something there for everyone.
I think Old Saybrook is a nice town, many new places to go shopping or grocery shopping. I think some of the shopping centers do need updating.
Old Saybrook is a beautiful town. From the beaches, to the charm of downtown, everything is peachy keen. It is the best in the warmer months, when outdoor activities are most enjoyable. The food is wonderful as well with many local owned, fresh, family restaurants.
It's great, there really isn't any crime or safety issues
I would have to say that the crime in this area is very low. I feel completely safe in my town. The police do a very good job in keeping everyone safe and alert during even the smallest of things.
I would have to say that the general atmosphere of the area that I live in is great. Everybody around us is so pleasant and smart. I grew up in the town I live in currently, and plan on staying here when I am married with kids as well. The area is just somewhere that is safe, beautiful and home to me.
There isn't much crime in this area, and if anything were to happen there are a ton of cops that will be to the scene realitvely quickly.
I love my hometown, and I will always love it. It has a special place in my heart and it gave me some great opportunities to grow and find myself, and get to the position I am in.
