It is a beautiful place to live. There are many state parks near by to go hiking at and bring your dog! Neighbors are there for you if and when you happen to need them as long as you do the same for them. People are relatively friendly and I haven't heard about much crime in the area. I would absolutely live in this area again. It's quiet and I like that. Their are also plenty of opportunities to work, go to school and live all in the same town. I conserve a lot of gas with this set up. I see more jobs being brought to this area in the future.

Born and raised in this typical small town. It really is just a typical small town nothing too exciting happens besides the occasional political drama.
I enjoy the town of Oglesby because the short commute to Starved Rock State Park, there is a old time diner, and a good library.
