I enjoy living in odem, but there are a ton of things that could use improvement and fixing up. There are too many potholes, too much trash, and the community only seems to care about sports, hardly any love for other activities. If I had the choice to live somewhere else, I wouldn't take it. Though the people are rude and inconsiderate, I thoroughly enjoy the community and the people that I've met while living here. While there are a lot of bad things you could say about Odem, there are also a lot of great things you could say about it. Even though they may not care, they do support the band, UIL teams, and theater.

Odem is a really good town. I was basically raised in Odem my whole life. My experience here at Odem is really great honestly, I mean everyone is so nice, generous, kind, and care-giving. Like no matter if they're friends, family, everyone is just amazing to talk to. One thing I love about Odem is that there is a lot of support, if its sports, band, or just as a community there's a lot of support everywhere. Mainly everyone supports us and it make our sports players and band members to do our very best and continue to keep doing out best. If there was one thing I'd like to see change, I really wouldn't like to change anything because Odem is great the way it is. Odem may be a small town but Odem is very supportive.
I like Odem, it's okay. I think it needs more things to do around town but other than that, it's simple. I like the simplicity but sometimes it can be a bit boring considering there is nothing to do in this town. Everything you want to do is either in Corpus Christi or Sinton and those both are about ten minutes away. It's not terrible but it's not the best either. If there was more to do and more places to eat I wouldn't have a problem with Odem.
