The community is oceanside is one of the greatest things about it. The environment while you receive those Californian winds at the beach, you can settle in local oceanside landmarks, like the oceanside pier! The weather is definitely one of the better aspects of oceanside, although one of the biggest downsides of oceanside is the expense to live in such an area.

I love the small beach town feeling you get here in Oceanside! We are within close proximity to San Diego and all it has to offer. They have a wonderful community college, MiraCosta College, that offers many different and some unique programs of study.
I have lived in Oceanside for 13 years. It is a beautiful city, with wonderful weather. The beaches are perfect during summer, and cold but still lovely to look at during the colder months. Downtown Oceanside is very well maintained with lots to do, including some great local restaurants and cafes, fun shops to browse, and lovely scenery as you stroll on the sidewalks of the beach town. The city is very diverse, full of kind, selfless people. While the town is a tourist destination, it doesn't feel like it. It feels very homey and welcoming. Oceanside is also full of art and music. It is home to various levels of artists and photographers. It is a lovely place to take pictures. Local businesses are very supportive of the arts within Oceanside, with several pictures hung in most places taken or drawn by locals. Overall, it is a wonderful place whether you plan to live here, or take a vacation.
