Oceanside is a very military friendly beach town located at the top of San Diego. Over the last few years they have really improved the city with new activities, restaurants, and shopping. The pier often has events and lots of local fishing with of course beautiful views of the Southern California coastline. Oceanside has one of the few piers left in Southern California and is a great place to walk in the morning and watch the pelicans and fisherman. They have also improved the roads along the coast highway to allow for more people to bike through town and easily get to Carlsbad or even further south. Oceanside has a fun almost quirky vibe that can't be beat! It is a great place to live without the expense of other areas in San Diego County.

No matter where you are in Oceanside you're close to the beach which is always nice. There are a few parts in Oceanside that seem a little sketchy but they're pretty few. Every Thursday we have the Sunset market which is pretty nice and they're trying to fix up the place so downtown Oceanside is starting to attract more businesses, encouraging more nightlife. As a bonus, we have 2 libraries!
California, Oceanside, is my hometown where I grew up. Personally, I love Oceanside for several reasons. For starters, the weather is amazing! For example, even during winter, and the coldest of months, you can walk outside with a t-shirt and shorts without freezing over. Next, I love the diversity in Oceanside, it is essentially a melting pot of people from all over the world! With that brings different cultures, food, and lifestyles that many natives can enjoy! Lastly, the beach is also a big reason why I love Oceanside. The beach is basically right next door. It's no wonder why people from all over the world come to visit Oceanside for all these great factors it can provide. Personally, I believe Oceanside is one of the top towns in America. Although many might disagree with that statement, I believe Oceanside is much different from any other area in the country. It has a sense of beauty that brings everyone together. The atmosphere is unlike any other. In fact, I can see oceanside becoming a well-known landmark in the near future. I believe our town has a very bright future ahead of us.
