I have lived in Oceanport my entire life and it is the perfect family friendly town. It is a very safe tight-knit community with opportunities for residence of a vast range of economic situations. The public schools are very small allowing for individual attention at a young age. There is limited activities and employment opportunities in Oceanport other than the Monmouth Park race track. There is also little diversity throughout the town. Ultimately, typical New Jersey suburb community
Oceanport is a very safe and friendly community. I grew up here my entire life and it has one of the best educational systems. But the town is expensive (you get what you paid for), and therefore, lacking in diversity. But overall great rating.
The town's mostly white middle-class families, but I grew up here and besides the slight bullying that's prevalent in middle schools everywhere, it hasn't been bad. The parks are nice, and if you want to take a walk you're able to get to a decent amount of things to do. The Racetrack's more a nuisance to my family than anything, but other families love it and go every weekend.
