I absolutely love Ocala. Ocala is a great place to live. Ocala offers lots of shopping and dining options. Also there are many job opportunities with companies like Florida hospital, Walmart, and Lockheed Martin. The many recreational parks and national forest make for good exploring and beautiful scenery. There is quite a bit to do in Ocala as well as opportunities to relax and enjoy quiet and nature. Ocala is also not too far from Gainesville, FL and Orlando, FL which makes it nice to visit museums, butterfly forests, Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios and many other attractions! Ocala is also only 45 minutes to an hour away from beaches. I particularly love visiting the springs in Ocala Florida. The beautiful, clear water and lots of wildlife. Great for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and scuba diving. The trails are also fun but watch out for bears, snakes and believe it or not... monkeys!

Ocala has plenty of opportunities job and education wise. There are quite a few local college campuses around. College of Central Florida being the main one. Plenty of jobs depending on your field, and we are the " horse capital of the world" they say!
The things I like about Ocala are the beautiful green foliage, the rainy seasons, horses, and the people. There is nothing like going for a drive and been surrounded by acres of beautiful greenery and trees covered with moss. Some of my favorite roadways are canopied by trees on either side creating a long beautiful arch for your enjoyment as you drive through the area. Here comes rainy season which makes the scenery even more beautiful especially at home. Picture beautiful luscious green trees, rain pouring, thunder and light and just looking out your window while drinking a hot beverage, how inviting it is here in Ocala. If you love horses, there are plenty to appreciate here in Ocala. The people here in Ocala are as beautiful as its scenery. They are friendly and approachable, and they help each other, it doesn’t get any better. There is not a lot that I would change about Ocala, I would like to preserve its beauty so future generation can enjoy it as much as I do.
