While the St. Louis area has suffered recently, the Kirkwood area continues to be a great "small town" feeling. However, lately it feels as though drug and crime issues are beginning to infiltrate the area in a way I haven't seen in the past. I wonder if that's just society today however, and not unique to my neighborhood.
There has been an increase in teen vandalism in the area. Crimes are not necessarily serious, but it's still disconcerting.
