I love living in Oakland. It's a great small town with beautiful old oak trees all over and a great bike trail. Access to the highway system is very conveniently located and you can be just about anywhere in Orlando within 30 minutes. Being located right in between Winter Garden and Clermont is a huge plus as well. There are great shopping opportunities in each area, which leaves Oakland less crowded and less bustling, which I love.

Oakland is an AMAZING town to live in. The Oakland Police are so friendly and because the town is small you become familiar with them. I live in Oakland trails and the Oakland police driver through everyday making sure there isn't suspicious activity and to say hi. It makes you feel comfortable and safe. Everyone here is very kind and we have a Nature Preserve that holds events for the Community which is great!!!
Great place to live. Nightlife is unavailable, its nice and quiet. Local police are around and friendly. Very small town close to the turnpike.
