Even though it is a very crime-free and safe area, the local police are corrupt and could care-less about their community. Their main goal is personal gain.

I'm very fortunate to live in an are that has an influx of wealth coming in and as a very rich culture and diversity. I'm also fortunate to be ten minutes away from the ocean and or bay in any direction. In the summer though it gets crowded with tourists but they bring the money in.
There isn't a strong sense of community, but it' not a negative sense of it either. You just do your own thing and move on.
