Working in Norwood
I've lived in the Boston area for over 15 years and Norwood/Westwood for about 5 of those years. I love living in Norwood as it's a safe, well maintained town with low taxes and great proximity to Boston and everything we need to live a comfortable lifestyle. I also love that there are 2 brewers!
Norwood was the town we lived in when moving to MA and we have been here almost 6 years, we are so glad we chose it for our home. We love how easy it is to get to Boston and Providence. Its location to 95 and 93 is great, as well as the automile on route 1 if you are looking to buy a car. It has a small airport which is nice to watch small planes take off and land on a nice day. There are a lot of restaurants such as Paprika and To Beirut, SPoT has awesome bagles. There is a lot of shopping in neighboring towns and the outlets in Wrenthem isn't that far of a drive. We haven't lost power thanks to the town electric company and there is a Norwood cable company as well. Norwood is a great town for families and those who want to be convenient to the city and live in a clean and quite town with a low crime rate (which we have never had an issue no matter what area in Norwood we have lived in.)
I love Norwood. I moved here when I was 8 years old and it's a quiet town that it is the perfect location. We're right next to Boston. It is a great place to raise kids and has great schools. Commute time is great, and this town has a very healthy life style. It is very diverse and has plenty of job opportunities. Money Magazine ranked it in it's top 100 places to live in 2019.
