Great little town in north eastern Bergen County, blue ribbon schools,
NYC commute with a direct bus line. Lots of great markets and restaurants to go to.
Love that it’s 5min to Whole Foods and 10 min to Trader Joe’s! Plenty of hiking all along the Palisades, and Rockland County parks.

In Norwood, everyone knows everyone. This type of community is great for families and it is a great place to raise your children. Norwood is extremely safe, with some of the best police officers in the county. Norwood's police, fire and EMS teams are filled with outstanding individuals who devout their lives to serving the people of Norwood. Norwood's school system is among the top in the entire country. It has a K-8 elementary school with some of the state's finest educators. After students graduate 8th grade at Norwood Public School, they move onto Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan. This school is in Old Tappan, New Jersey, adjacent to Norwood, and out of the entire country it is ranked extremely high for its education, sports and clubs. Overall, Norwood is a great town with caring citizen; I am glad to have been raised here.
Norwood is a great town with many restaurants, coffee shops, donut shops, bagel places, and fast food. Norwood borders three other towns that make up the "Valley" so there is a lot of option. The public schools are alright however there is a lot of corruption within the school boards. Tight-knit community that you should want to have your children grow up in.
