Norwich is quintessential small town New England. A cute general store that stocks everything you could ever need, a delicious cafe with homemade baked goods, and a fine dining restaurant make up the downtown. There is plenty of outdoor recreation opportunity with miles of hiking, biking, and xc ski trails nearby. The only drawback is the housing market is pretty expensive and it is 20 minutes to a decent sized grocery store.
A lovely residential town with a rural feel yet still close to more populated areas where there are shops and things to see and do. Friendly, quality people. Great schools. Beautiful surroundings with hiking, trails, kayaking, and other outdoor activities in our backyard. Quiet small town feel.
Norwich is a great, happy little town. The school is good and there are a couple nice restaurants. Although there's not much to do, Norwich is fun and happy. Most residents work at Dartmouth or the hospital and everyone there is super friendly. I'd say the worst about is the weather when it's not winter or summer. It rains 24/7 and there is mud EVERYWHERE. Besides that, Norwich is great!
