Overall, due to watching the transitioning of my local neighborhood and attending the local system, I am unfortunately disappointed. Many of homeowners poorly take care of their homes which absolutely impacts the outlook of the entire neighborhood as a whole. The school system is progressively getting worse. Unfortunately a lot of the major problems are going either unnoticed or noticed but not solved.
Now and then you have your typical robbery and drug abuse, but honestly this seems to be happening in more and more communities. Overall it is not a huge problem and police respond quickly.
Rumpke dump has made the area smell bad and trash flies in the air landing in yards as their trucks fly by the homes in the area. Shopping in the area is good and you are close to everything but crime is rising and housing values are not recovering well. Our home was purchased 20 years ago for $110K and the value now is around $103K. The house two doors over is for sale for around $100K and has no prospects and it is a really nice home.
