There is very little that makes Northfield, Ohio a great town. There are constantly changing low-end retail stores and stagnant low-end culinary options. On the edge of town sits a Ford motor plant in great disuse, only operating in the business offices. A horse racing track is next to that, its massive parking lot never approaching full, with a brand new casino recently opened just in front of it. Northfield's economy is supported - quite simply - with alcohol and gambling. Bars are dotted along the main street just around the corner from an elementary school, wedged between auto body shops, a car wash, and a McDonald's. Northfield doesn't grow, it's too small, it's people have been raised there, have taken shelter in its familiar mediocrity, and now raise their own children there.

It's a nice suburb to live in. Neighbors are generally nice, the surrounding town is a good place to go to for many things including food and entertainment.
We are close to many cultural, natural and entertainment experiences. There is great big and small shopping, ethnic festival experiences and strong citizen bonds for the Nordonia Hills and greater Akron/Cleveland area.
