It's a friendly neighborhood with a lot of personality and history.
The local public services are very caring and responsive.
It's a very safe neighborhood. Everyone knows everyone and looks after one another.
The winters are incredibly cold and we get a ton of snow. The summers are beautiful, but far too short. Autumn in the northeast is like nothing else.

I live in a very small town so all of the stores are very traditional small-town stores (for example, we have a 5&10).
