North Syracuse is a quiet, family-friendly suburb of Syracuse. You are within 15-20 minutes of the city and other surrounding suburbs which gives you a great diversity of shopping and restaurant choices. Lots of great public parks and the school district is good, but the number of students per grade at the Jr High and High School is large which has its pros and cons. I've enjoyed living here the past 8 years and find it a nice place to raise kids. The public library is one of my favorite things in town as it is just the right size and bright and modern-looking.

Suburb of Syracuse, NY. Nice but not fancy or rich. We have good schools. This is a safe area, with affordable living outside of the city.
