The people here are so kind, and the relaxed lifestyle is so peaceful! There are plenty of events like the North Stonington Fair that bring people together. Lots of space for families or farms, and just the right amount of shops to get what you need. Like southern country living, above the Mason Dixon!

In my experience in North Stonington, it is a good town to raise children, but only if they were either born into the town or move in at a young age. Since it is so small, it the school cliques are hard to join at older ages. The developmental sports programs are filled with experienced coaches that love to see kids meet their potential. However, the high school sports are not great. Most of the high level athletes transfer out to the surrounding high schools. As far as an education, the teachers are committed, and really take the extra step to make sure kids are successful. Very close to both of the CT casinos.
Very small town. Country/home town feel. Great elementary, middle, and high school. They have extremely small class sizes. Some traffic from Foxwoods Casino and Mohegan Sun Casino.
