North St. Paul has fun community events like the old fashioned car shows on Fridays downtown in the summer and neighborhood block parties. It's also very nice to have a nature reserve with a walking path nearby. The paths could be better maintained because at certain times of the year they can be very overgrown with weeds. Also, the library needs a larger selection of books.

The city still has a lot of older residents and has been this way for a while. There are more younger residents living here now than there used to be. The City does try to be more concerned about the environment than most small cities with having bike lanes and a wind turbine. I like that the City is nearby several highways and isn't far from Saint Paul or Minneapolis.
There have been many new improvements to the city, including a beautiful new Veteran's Memorial Park and new stores opening up. I think North St Paul has a great atmosphere, the main street is amazing in the winter, with wreaths and Christmas lights around every lamp post. The high school is not the greatest, but the people who work there are constantly coming up with new ways to make improvements to the quality of education and the attitude of students. Overall, I think that North St Paul is a great place to live and I have enjoyed growing up here!
