North Ridgeville is a very homey convenient place to live. The location is perfect, I could not see living in any surrounding cities. We have highway and turnpike access right down the road. There is not too much attraction in the city leaving the traffic flow to be only travelers living here. However, we are home to some pretty spectacular things. Such as the annual North Ridgeville Cornfest where we celebrate all things corn, although we have been losing our fields to houses and development celebrating our past is just as important. Not only are we known for the Cornfest but also have one of the only drive-in movie theatres left right in our backyards. Being able to see a movie in the comfort of our own cars with friends and family is an experience like no other. Being a 25-minute drive from Lake Erie is always a plus to living in North Ridgeville, as that leads to lots of fun in the summertime. North Ridgeville has been a spectacular place to grow up and create endless memories.
I have lived in North Ridgeville the majority of my life and have found that not only is construction neverending, but it is also extremely inconvenient. Ridgeville is a work-in-progress town, but it is constantly growing. There are a few hot spots in town, such as Dairy Grove, Fiesta Jalapenos, and the Autorama. One thing I admire about North Ridgeville is the community's ability to come together and celebrate the town, despite their many differences.
I have lived in North Ridgeville for 17 years. The real estate is growing very quickly and the home prices are very expensive. There are almost no shopping opportunities and a lack of local businesses. If you need something or want to go out to eat, you almost always need to go to a neighboring city. The school system is not great.
