North Richland Hills is a wonderful community to grow up in. The town is full of friendly faces that you run into everywhere. It's the kind of town that you can walk into your local coffeeshop and say hi to everyone there. We have many town events where everyone comes to celebrate together. The one thing I would like to see change in my community would be better preservation of the natural areas. Our community is growing fast so most of the greenery has been cleared to build new apartments and houses. That being said, we have an abundance of parks with trees and hiking trails. Our fire and police department are just as involved in the community as any other citizen. Because of this, our town is very trusting in those who enforce safety. Our schools thrive on the friendly rivalry between it's students that allows everyone to make friends from all over the city. Everyone knows everyone but there is no judgement for how one lives or what one believes in.
My experience with North Richland Hills was absolutely phenomenal! I loved the fact that the neighborhoods were so well taken care of and and layout of housing and public parks was absolutely amazing. What I would like to see changed would probably be a more convenient train schedule since this often causes civilians to be late to work of school.
Although it has gotten more crowded over recent years, NRH still keeps its charm. It is a great location between Dallas and Fort Worth meaning NRH residents get the best of both worlds! The NRH library is a great resource and even has "The Makers Spot" which allows NRH residents to learn and improve their hobbies.
