North Miami Beach is wonderfull. Roads are well kept, parks are clean and law enforcement is fair and protective. Theres is a large jewish community, in turn having a lot of pretty sinegagues. North Miami Beach is warm, sunny and always moving. Public transportation is efficient and easy to get around with plenty of options like buses, trolleies, and monorails. I wish however, that there were more dog parks. There are a variety of schools from public to private and even montesory schools all over the city. Plenty of restaurants and local businesses to keep the economy prime.

I love living in this warm, friendly, out of town community. I grew up here and have lived here for the past 20 years. Yes, North Miami Beach is not the most externally beautiful area in Miami, but it is more than just a neighborhood. It is a family friendly community which hosts a large warm and welcoming Jewish population, along with other groups and nationalities. Children are found playing outside with their friends and neighbors feel a strong connection to one another. It is more slow-paced than a busy city, but has wonderful shopping and amenities and anything you can need close by. The one negative though is the safety and security issue which the local activists have been working on improving.
I lived in North Miami Beach for about 4 years and its alright over here. Most of the things you would need in your every day life is not to far from you. There are fast food restaurants all over the place and little food marts, also a Walmart and mall on 163. The mall is not that big nor small but it's barely packed there. It isn't like an Aventura mall at all but i wish it was. The streets can be more cleaner though and there is always traffic over and it gets real annoying. Honestly i can't wait to leave this area and live in a more quieter and CLEANER community.
