Quiet neighborhoods, predominantly White. A lot of great local businesses down Belgrade Ave (main road). Make sure to check out Neutral Groundz for your daily caffeine, they also have amazing gifts available in their shop.
If you are outdoorsy make sure to head to Spring Lake Park. It offers a walking trail, pond to fish, softball fields, an outdoor hockey rink, and a remodeled public pool. Dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged companion with you!

North Mankato is a beautiful town filled with a lot of opportunity. The nature is gorgeous and is one of my favorite features. The schools are fairly easily accessible thanks to North Mankato's smaller size, and there are plenty of restaurants and places to shop as well. The North Mankato library is a fantastic place. The town is fairly quiet but also has plenty of fun events periodically. The parks are great. Being right next to the larger Mankato also gives North Mankato residents even more opportunity, including a variety of colleges/universities.
Very nice city, all the aspects of this city are ideal for young families, college students, older couples, and young couples.
