North Manchester Reviews
I moved here when I was 20 Years old and I never left. I started having my girls and this is a great place to raise kids. I can let them be kids without overly worrying which is one of the biggest reasons I never left. It is a sleepy little town that has great people. I would love to see more businesses come back to Manchester, we have lost a lot of our factories and it is starting to get the feeling like a ghost town. It is a shame considering how when I move up here we had many factories in this sleepy little town. One good thing is we are close enough to the bigger towns you can work elsewhere and still live here though, so that makes it nice also.
This town is very good for those who want to live in a small town after they retire, but also for those who are looking into Manchester University. The town has few restaurants, but is not far from many other places. The schooling system is very good compared to some of the others around the area, and the town is relatively friendly.
Nice quiet town. Has basic ammenities (grocery store, gas stations galore, fast food). Home of Manchester University. I wish there was more to do for young adults (college students). Most travel 30-45 minutes to Fort Wayne for a more diverse night life.
