People are friendly amd helpful. There are many churches. There are many fundraisers for the high school sports teams that people willingly participate in. There are some people that are not friendly, however.

Madison is a good town to raise your kids in. There is a lot of parks and it is a safe area. The school system is similar to most other small towns. However, there is not many clubs, bars, or places to gather socially for adults. The people are great for the most part.
There is an above average amount of houses for rent or sale as of late. It seems like they are priced fairly too. The houses by township park are cheaper and have more crime. Mainly drug use or small violent disputes. The houses in the village and rwst of the township are nice and in good neighborhoods. South Madison is more rural and very peaceful.
