I love North Laurel! It has a great community center and a lot of residential area. It's super close to I-95 and one can even walk on the overpass above the huge highway. There are a lot of amazing schools nearby. The library system is one of the best in the country. Because of its close proximity to DC and Baltimore, the opportunities are ENDLESS! Grocery is easily accessible – a short drive or even walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend this area.

I live in the Emerson Community in North Laurel. It is a beautiful community which is very pet-friendly. There are doggy-bag stands throughout the community. There are many well-maintained parks and a community swimming pool. There is even a mini dog park. I would definitely say this is a great community to live in. I'm districted to a very good school and we are conveniently close to a lot of amenities. We can close enough to D.C. that is perfect for a day trip, the Annapolis mall is not too far away, and we are close to Columbia Mall in Ellicott City.
I love Howard County they have best public schools around. There are 6 fantastic things to do in here: Howard County Ghost Tours,B & O Railroad Museum, Howard County Golf Courses, Nearby Casinos, Wineries, Outdoor Activities and the Wayside Inn.
