Small town, with lots of farms and far from most things. Though not too far, with Freehold just 40 minutes away, Six Flags only 15 minutes, and Hamilton only 20 minutes away. It has a very homey, country-side feel and is beautiful throughout the year. Though the town is a bit culturally stunted, it is slowly changing into a more open and accepting town. There used to be a town fair in the fall which was loads of fun, but they stopped it a couple years back. The schools in the area are decent and fairly close to wherever you live. The people are very friendly and are willing to be a helpful neighbor whenever the chance arises. North Hanover is a great town to live with a family but it still is a work in progress.

North Hanover Township is perfect solitude because it resides in the more rural area of New Jersey. The schools provide advanced classes as well as many sports opportunities. In the spring through fall there are many activities and farm stands that have a quaintness about them. Especially in the fall there is a display at the local farm market of pumpkins that have been carved by the locals.
Although I am a city girl at heart, North Hanover was small enough to know everyone and make friends.
