This town is an amazing little town, with great friendly people and neighbors. The town itself is a extremely quaint and very beautifully polished. Taxes are low and the property sizes are nice and large.
I love how small North Haledon is. It is a very safe and friendly town. I also like how close it is to New York City, the Jersey Shore, and all the shopping malls in North Jersey. It's a great place to live!
i never lived there but i use to walk from haledon to north haledon to the foodtown north haledon is a very nice town very nice housess
North Haledon is a very quiet neighborhood, at least where I live. There is a nice bike path and playground near the Middle School and Public Library. I don't really know any of my neighbors though, despite living here for several years.
I like that it is a small town. The stores are close by and the community has many police officers ensuring community safety. It is a very safe neighborhood.
North Haledon is a decent town to live in although it does not have its own high school so that is a big downside to the town. Other than that it is not much different than any other town
North Haledon is a relatively small town with relatively nice people. There's not much to do aside from the REC fields and park which is nice for children and some small local restaurants. The schools could use work especially the high school. Public transit in the town would also be nice to have.
Growing up in North Haledon was nice. I felt safe in that town. I didn't like school too much because at the time North Haledon only consisted of Italians and Dutch. Being that I wasn't either, it was difficult for me in school.
pretty small in area. shares a post office with Haledon and Prospect Park. Not a bad area at all but also not my favorite
My town's dining options consist of pizza places and bagel places. There is only one bar which is Irish themed
I think that most people work outside of my town, because there are so little opportunities for decent work.
My town has a very short supply of businesses. What little we have are mostly self-owned restaurants and at least three bagel shops in my very tiny town. Why on earth a small town needs that many bagel shops is beyond me.
We have very little to zero crime in my area. The police are compensated very well in my town and they do a good job keeping the streets clean.
Being in the suburbs of Manhattan, work is relatively available. Most successful people work in the finance industry, or are entrepreneurs. Also, many companies have either the corporate headquarters or satellite offices located around NYC, which makes jobs diversity a big part of our workplace.
Outside of the winter, there are not may weather related issues in my area. Occasionally, we will have a hurricane or thunder storm. During the winter, it is essential to have a warm coat for shoveling snow and staying warm outdoors.
The quality and quantity of restaurants is fantastic. You can enjoy a different type of cuisine 7 days per week. However, the nightlife does not have much to offer. The closest downtown city go to is approximately 20-25 miles away.
Everything a consumer needs is readily available in my area. Within a ten mile radius, there are multiple super market, hardware stores, convenience stores, malls, restaurants, and home appliance stores. Because of the massive amount of competition, customer service is often a main focus.
