Liked the selection of outdoor plants and patio plants. Like the fact that the plant containers were different sizes also. The self check out help was also good. The only negative comment would be that The non-food entrance was closed and it would be more convenient if it was open.
Honestly, the south area of North Fort Myers is kind of filthy and I often find myself having to drive to Cape Coral for my life necessities. The north area of North Fort Myers is beautiful with lots of land for property and friendlier people.
Great and helpful neighbors. Some areas can be a bit scary, but overall I feel safe. Short distance to most stores and bus routes.
I love North Fort Myers it’s very rural and quiet that’s why I moved there and I bought a house three years ago I’m very happy with where I am now. But just like everywhere it has its good in bad areas but if I’m completely honest it has more bad than good. The city has a lot of low poverty people that live in it and it needs a lot of cleaning up. But like I said I’m very happy where I am. Where I am it safe and clean and quiet, that’s all I care about.
I like living in North Fort Myers however it is not where I would like to live forever. I want to move and see other places. North Fort Myers has a big population of older people which is not fun when you are a college student.
I love living in North Fort Myers! It has a great library as well as recreation center and park with great walking spaces. The rec center hosts a movie in the park night once a month. Even better, North Fort Myers is close to downtown Fort Myers, where they host family friendly events often as well as host First Fridays, an once monthly event where you can walk around downtown and see all the new art. The bridge is fun to drive over, and there are lots of places to go kayaking or swimming with the river so close. Furthermore, there are a lot of good stores close by such as Walmart, Five Below, Harbor Freight, Target, etc. There are also some really good places to eat: Havana Cuban and Masala Mantra are some of my favorites. Also, North Fort Myers is 10 minutes from Fort Myers and 10 minutes from Cape Coral. It's so easy to get everywhere you want to be. Traffic is not that bad, and most of the streets have sidewalks so you can basically walk anywhere you want to.
I have lived here for over a year. It is a fairly safe area that has a low cost of living and is close to lots of nightlife and convenience stores.
I've lived in North Fort Myers my whole life and I wouldn't want to grow and raise a family anywhere else!
I would like to see the infrastructure cared for more. There are so many vacant lots that could be turned into something more useful or made into a more scenic spot. There are often road projects that last way longer than necessary. There are not many restaurants to choose from and the ones that are in existence are unhealthy fast food places. I would like to see more health food stores or restaurants in general. There are next to no parks in the area as well as no trails or anything that would be nice to walk/run/or hike on. That would help residents stay active.
North Fort Myers is a part of the large city of Fort Myers, known to be one of the wealtheir areas in Southwest Florida, meaning there is a lack of diversity in its schools and facilities. The people are nice and helpful for the most part, but its mostly a passing city to get to the heart of Fort Myers.
I have lived in North Fort Myers for about 6 months, for the most part I like where I currently reside. It's an older populated neighborhood so it's quite and close to everything.
North Fort Myers is definitely a good place to be if you don't want to be in a big city, but would like to be close to one. It is close to both Cape Coral and Fort Myers. It does have some sketchy vibes to it, and may not be considered the safest, but this all depends on where exactly you live. My grandparents moved here and my mom has lived here her whole life. She loves her little piece of heaven and will probably reside here for the rest of her life. I don't think North Fort Myers is a bad place to live, but I do not plan to stay here after I move out.
I just moved to a beautiful area of North Fort Myers in January. So far I love it. It's very quiet an the traffic is so much better than Fort Myers. Everything is very handy to get to an beaches are close.
Great place to live with easy access to beaches, great food, and lots of sunshine. The one major thing I would change is how poorly our waterways have been treated over the years. With people over fertilizing their properties and the big sugar industries taking over our everglades the waterways have suffered greatly. Red tide and widespread algae have destroyed ecosystems and killed thousands of fish and other wildlife dependant on the river and Gulf waters. I would love to see the people of South West Florida step up and work together in resolving the issues of our waterways before it is too late to fix.
There are too many drug busts in the area. There are also too many loose pets and animals, owners need to keep their pets in their yard or at least on a leash.
The cost of living is comparable to other areas of Florida. The crime rate is not bad, I do feel safe and have lived here for 4 years. The only thing that I would like to change is the amount of drug addicts in the surrounding towns.
Love where I live. It is clean friendly and safe. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. It will keep a family busy for the entire vacation.
