I moved to Crossett, AR half way through my senior year from Dutchtown High School in Louisiana. The switch was not hard as far as academics went, because the teachers are too easy on the students and move way too slow. Finding friends was extremely hard, because this area is all about who you know and not what you know. There are not many businesses, so jobs are find even if you do know someone. This is a good place to find peace with GOD on the dirt roads, grandparents that love telling stories from when they were young, fishing and hunting. My mother's side of our family is from here, so this area is a part of me in a way.
There are many stores in Crossett. If you are unable to certain supplies in one store, there are other stores that carry what you ar elooking for.
Southeast Arkansas has some conflicting weather. One day, it can be the coldest day of the year. But the next day, it'll be so hot, that it feels like summer
