New resident. Year round tourists. Too busy for me. I retired here though and it is a pretty place with year round activities.
Growing up in North Conway has been excellent for me. The town is very safe and there are many fun attractions to enjoy all year round. As I'm getting older, I'm realizing how North Conway lacks activities and nightlife for young adults like myself, but that has been the only drawback of living here. The skiing is excellent. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
I absolutely adore the small town feel and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. The school system is amazing and everyone is very kind and welcoming. There can be limited job opportunities other then retail, a lot of the jobs are family owned businesses . There is a lot of local run businesses though which I absolutely adore, as well as local restaurants. The town is all about small businesses and helping one another.
Nice small town with eclectic shopping, dining and entertainment. A skiers paradise in winter weather conditions
I'm a resident of 20 years. What I like: the diversity of nature, wildlife is pretty safe (just watch for coyote), people do not care about your skin colour, sexuality, race, etc. The saco river is beautiful. It has plenty of amenities as far as buying basic necessities goes. There's lots of outdoor activities to do year round. Certain times of the year it's easy to get a job. What I do not like: most jobs pay terribly, housing is expensive, and the hidden crime. There's a lot of people on drugs (mostly heroine) and I've had many offer me drugs, ask where to buy, and if I sell them. If you make a friend and find out they're on drugs, end the friendship asap or you could find yourself in an unsafe situation. It's a major problem that the town likes to try and hide. The weather can also be pretty bad, very often dipping below zero in the winter and on rare occasion reaching high 90's, low 100's in the summer with a lot of humidity.
I like how North Conway is very friendly and everyone gets to know you on a deeper level. Downtown North Conway is very pretty and small but full of really great places to shop and eat. Also, there are so many activities from hiking, kayaking, swimming, biking, etc.
North Conway is a beautiful little town. It has many shops and restaurants. Nice town to raise a family.
North Conway, NH is a beautiful town located in the Mount Washington valley.
Family oriented with lots of fun things to do, specially for children. This town is great for shopping. There are about 50 outlets in the area. You will find everything from LLBean, Old Navy, Chicos, Coach, Brooks Brothers, Justice, Nike, etc., etc. Mild summers make North Conway the perfect destination for summer vacations with several water parks not far from the area. The Valley counts with several beautiful ski resorts. Perfect town all year around.

Beautiful, clean and cheap living in this gorgeous town in New Hampshire. Road are always in a great shape even in a winter time, after a snowstorm roads are clean within hours.
I love living in our small town, only reason that I did not choose 5 stars is because I believe there should be more things in town or neighboring towns for kids/teens/young adult to do.
North Conway is an amazing place to visit, learn, vacation, camp, shop, and experience year round seasonal activities. Tax free shopping is of course a plus BUT North Conway is unique because it has an Outlet village. This shopping center is a like a little town but of houses it is exclusively outlets.
In the winter you can enjoy the beauty of Mount Washington Valley. Both cross county and downhill skiing is a must along with ice skating, tubing, and sledding. There are plenty of ski lodge style pubs to enjoy a drink and warm up by a fire, play pool, or dance if that is your thing. North Conway is surrounded by many ski towns that have their own unique charm.
North Conway has endless local dinning options that will put a smile of the face of everyone in your family.
In the warm months you can enjoy camping, swimming, rock climbing, fishing, sailing, shopping, local art, music, and charm.

Overall, Conway is a great place to live. If you're into anything and everything outdoors, you'll like it here. The only thing that I don't like about living in this town is the amount of tourists that come up in the summer and even some weekends in the winter. It makes it difficult and irritating to drive around or even hang out in town
Fabulous sights, shops, and dining! I love the crisp and cold mountain air!! People are so nice and friendly and go out of their watch to make you smile!
I have lived in North Conway, NH for 15 years. It is quite and beautiful. This vacation town has many shops to visit. Ski, hiking, camping and fishing, a sort for all to enjoy, for every season.
