North Branch is a quiet little farming town in the thumb of Michigan. Some may be turned off by the lack of architecture, but the community and nature you will witness is unlike anything else. In North Branch, everyone is on a first name basis and many of the residents have families who have lived here for generations. Its an amazing place for people who are looking to get away from the constant stress of city life. Despite the small downtown area, theres always something to do. I've lived here my whole life and I wouldn't want to grow up anywhere else. North Branch is my home.

North Branch is a small town, and with it comes small minded people. Sadly, that is the biggest drawback of the community. On the surface, it's an adorable little town. You may even assume we have a friendly tight-knit community. But that only goes for some. The town and school system are both rigorously run by town natives. Basically, if you want things to go your way, you simply need to have a certain last name. There are a certain few infamous families that have taken it upon themselves to decide how the town and things in it should be run. North Branch is a nice town, but it is in need of some serious upgrades. Also, the township took a vote and although marijuana is legal in the state of Michigan, it is not in North Branch. However, if you like farms, rolling fields, and wildly conservative people, you might just love it here.
North Branch is a small but friendly farming community. The village is fairly small and does not offer much. There are a handful of restaurants and bars. The commute to any other city is easily 30 minutes. On the other side, the school district is small but well known for excellence. If you like country living, then this place would make an excellent home.
