North Branch, Michigan is a small town with an authentic farm town feel. There are enough small local businesses to provide the locals with needed services, but you do need to travel about 20 miles to get to big-box stores like Walmart. Some advantages are the clean air, friendly people, and locally available fresh farm produce. There isn't a stop light in town! And, at certain times of the year you may get stuck behind a tractor on the road hauling hay, corn or other crops. But this just adds to the local charm.

I have lived in North Branch for 16 years and love it. North Branch is a small agricultural village with a strong sense of community. We have annual parades for the Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Christmas. It is a beautiful location with woods, rivers, ponds and farm fields. We have excellent schools and it is a great place to raise children. Being a small community it is very safe with low crime rate.
North Branch, Michigan is a small town. When people say they know everyone and everything they are not kidding. North Branch is a spectacular place to raise your kids, although there is not very many activities to partake in. Very many small businesses in North Branch, so you always support the small businesses which is great. Great education, even if everyone in the area jokes about their education.
