I like Amityville! Gentrification is prevalent right now. I would like to see better public transportation and more parks and recreational centers.

I love Amityville because it made me the person I am today and helped me become a humble and strong person. Growing up I didn’t have a lot so it made me work harder then the next person because nothing was ever given to me. Amityville is a nice place to live and everybody basically knows everyone. The parks are were friendships are created people go the parks everyday to compete and meet new people . It’s a place filled with hard workers and people who try there best to succeed in life . We support all of our sports teams to the fullest . Every football game the stands are packed especiallly night and our bastketball team always puts on a show and even won states this year
It use to be great. Lately its been saturated with group home. These people don't respect the area. They are loud, dirty and disrespectful of the people that live and pay taxes here.
On the flip side, its convenient to everything. Great location for family activities, live eating out or the beach. Multiple great shopping areas. Loads of things to do and see.
