Safety is not an issue here! Also it is very peaceful to leave here. There are many schools here in Amityville including Copiague and Amityville. These schools are very diverse and filled with many clubs and activities for many students to enjoy. The communities are very small but safe. Many neighbors are interactive with each other. There are many spots like shopping malls, restraurants, plazas, and other places to hang out with friends. There is also a lot of diversity for students and to help find jobs opportunities. However, of course there are cons which is the affordability. Long Island is one of the most expensive places to live in in New York.

I like Amityville! Gentrification is prevalent right now. I would like to see better public transportation and more parks and recreational centers.
I love Amityville because it made me the person I am today and helped me become a humble and strong person. Growing up I didn’t have a lot so it made me work harder then the next person because nothing was ever given to me. Amityville is a nice place to live and everybody basically knows everyone. The parks are were friendships are created people go the parks everyday to compete and meet new people . It’s a place filled with hard workers and people who try there best to succeed in life . We support all of our sports teams to the fullest . Every football game the stands are packed especiallly night and our bastketball team always puts on a show and even won states this year
