Personally, I think it's a good city. There's lots of diversity, and definitely a family oriented area. Everything you need is close by, and other cities around are close commute. Doesn't take too much time to get around. As a student, I would say the schools need some work, especially the high schools but they're trying!
This is a small town with the energy of a large town. There is shopping, parks, restaurants, fast food, the Chattahoochee River, and so much more. A lot of these things are all within walking distance of each other! I personally love Simpsonwood Park, but there is so much more to do and enjoy. Another great place is Downtown Norcross- a very quaint part of the town with so much to do. The one drawback that I could give is that there is a somewhat large conservative population, but if you are conservative that should be fine. Overall, I think that if I moved to Norcross from somewhere else, I would be very happy here.
Norcross is a nice place to be. While it might not seem like a lot happens, there is a lot to do. Thrasher Park has fun playgrounds and interesting art pieces, and also hosts live concerts and a farmers market! The nearby Lillian-Webb Park offers both a fun place for kids to get wet or a romantic spot at night. There are even movie nights for the whole community free of charge. There's also a street between the two that hosts a bunch of fun stores and restaurants. Unfortunately the infrastructure is a bit lacking, but that shouldn't deter anyone too much.
