It is a self sufficient city so everything is within walking distance. The people are very friendly and like to make you feel welcomed. I might grow old with my kids here eventually.
I love this area not only because I grew up here but because of the small town lifestyle. Everyone is super friendly; neighborhoods are extremely safe. The public schools are phenomenal. There are tons of opportunities to be involved whether it's at church, craft classes, library classes and activities, sports, etc. If I had kids a place like this would be where I would want them to grow up.
Like all places, St. Charles Parish has its ups and downs but overall I would say its a very safe and healthy environment to live. The people here are very nice and neighbors are very friendly. There is very little crime here and I can say that I would recommend anyone to live here.
