Niagara Falls, New York is a wonderful place in my heart. It is a suburb of Buffalo New York, and it is where I was lucky to have moved to for the time I have been in college. I love going to the Niagara Falls State Park, the amount of diverse people I was fortunate to meet, and the lively amount of attractions that this small area amounts. It is a wonderful chance that I had to grow away from home, and to find the great amount of excitement that a great wonder of the world is able to attract. I love Niagara and I have no plan to ever forget this wonderful area!
There are four distinct seasons- fall, spring, summer, and winter, but winter takes up most of the year. Do not move here if you do not like the cold or the snow. Prepare to wear boots, hats, jackets, and layers on a daily basis and get used to scraping off your car every morning in the freezing cold. The fall, spring, and summers are beautiful though, so sometimes the winter seems worth it.
NYS has really great state parks, which are beautiful and well maintained. Despite being surrounded by poverty, the Niagara Falls State Park is very beautiful. There are areas nearby where you can participant in nearly every sport or activity.
