I love Newell! It's a tiny town where not much happens. It is very safe to live in. Everybody knows everybody. There is a town park to play at and a town pool for in the summer. The public school is amazing. There are a few baseball fields and every Friday night the whole community comes together under the lights for some Mustang football. GO BIG BLUE!

I live in the Newell community. I have lived here for 2 years. I feel the school system is wonderful and dedicated to the students. The community is safe with local police. As far as events the town does lack in this area with very poor communication to the residents of the town. They have a Facebook page but for our elderly residents most do not use or know how to use Facebook. I feel our town could work on this area.
The small town of Newell is quiet and friendly. There are some small businesses but not much else. The town has the school from pre K to 12 grade. The community is small but cheerful and are often at the schools sporting events. The area is a good place to start a small family and the schooling is great.
