Great little small town, definitely up and coming! Cute downtown with a wonderful tea room, gift shops, a couple of new micro breweries and a trendy wine bar. Super downtown park on the river that I is perfect for families.
The city does free concerts in the park year-round and there are lots of other events held there too.

As a new resident who moved across the country recently, I have had good experiences in this town so far. I enjoy the close proximity to most amenities. It is just a short drive to popular beaches, but only a few minutes away from smaller, quieter beaches! There are a lot of dining options, along with many bars. Public Transportation in easily accessible. I enjoy watching kids play in the streets, it makes me feel like they are comfortable in this town!
New Port Richey is a small city in Pasco County. Driving distance from Tampa and St. Petersburg, New Port Richey has a relatively low cost of living, making it an affordable place to live for those who do not mind a commute. The downtown area is slowly making a comeback with new restaurants and storefronts opening and the city is offering incentives for hotel companies in an effort to build their hospitality industry.
