New Milford Reviews
I love New Milford, it has a small town vibe with a lot to do. There's movies, bowling, shopping, restaurants, hiking, and so much more. It is located in a great part of CT, 1 hour max from the ocean, 2 hours from NYC, 2 hours from great skiing. This town is in the perfect area of the northeast. If you want to have a more rural vibe but still be minutes away from shopping that is possible and so is the opposite. As I said before I love this town and all it has to offer.
High cost of living. Absurd tax on vehicles EVERY Year! Poor medical for a lot of insurance policies, one must commute to Danbury a lot to see dr and dentists. Very few quality restaurants. No decent Chinese food! High cost of living, real estate and taxes. Time to move🙂
While New Milford may be small, there's still a lot to do. It is a beautiful town, with many places to take hikes and walks. There's always something happening, either at the high school, on the green, or somewhere else. The community is wonderful, and when you go out you almost always see someone you know. Even if what you want isn't in town, it's located where you can take a quick trip to almost anything you could be looking for.
