The town has an old town feel and is very welcoming. You feel like you belong from day one. The landscape is beautiful and has a lot of history. The commute is a little long, but worth it for the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. The night life isn’t terrible, there just is not much of a night life. New Boston is home to the Hillsborough County Fair and is very supportive of local businesses.

We find New Boston represents a simple and austere way of rural New England life. Public government and local officials are good people, all very accessible, who don't interfere provided people are responsible, and understand they live as part of a civil society. As most New Hampshirites understand, rural life is mainly composed of several small families working out a way of living, and at the same time, earning a living. The nearest bigger towns are no less than 30 minutes away. There would have to be enough six year olds or teen-agers in a particular neighborhood to establish and maintain a reasonable balance of social activity, particularly in the hard, often long winter months. Snow and ice storms make roads and travel challenging. Good cordwood for the wood stove is a necessary must. There are many small farms, interesting hiking paths, and maple syrup remains nectar of the gods in these pastoral parts.
Upscale town and a sought after place to live. Active equestrian community, with beautiful country estates off set by private driveways. Gorgeous scenic views. Excellent schools, great family oriented place to live, with a friendly and upbeat small town vibe. Easy access to Boston, the Manchester airport, local shopping, and some terrific restaurants and pubs.
