This is a small town that is growing and adding opportunities for our future generations. I grew up in this town and feel like it has grown with me as well. I currently live here and raise my children here. Sometimes I feel like I am in a movie watching a small football town. Not only is it football but our community rally around all sports teams here. We do regular send offs when a team goes to state. We do half days for home coming and parades. During the holidays, we decorate the whole town and celebrate together doing breakfast with Santa, Christmas lighting ceremony and parades. Our economics is growing as well. We have had several companies move to our town in the last few years. You may not find your dream job here but we have a vast variety of employment opportunities. The only thing I could ask for that may be different is our road conditions are not the best quality. Sometime, I think that the country roads surrounding us are in better condition than the intown roads are
I love this little town of Neosho. Almost everyone smiles at you, and everything is close by. There is still some dirt roads to drive down and relax. Fishing spots are free. I wouldn't change a thing, other then the pot holes in the roads and how crazy some people drive. This place is full of opportunity if you give it a chance.
Neosho is a very small town with a population of 11,000. Living right out of the city, gives me a sense of country life, with the exception of town only being less than 15 miles away. Howevever, the people here think they are higher than most, which can become irritating.
