A quiet, small town with friendly people, and a good school district! The safety in this town is great, and there is a lot of diversity in this area. There isn't much for job or business opportunities, but we do have a few local businesses that are great!
Nekoosa a the small town feel while located in central Wisconsin. It has great access to many near by cities with enhanced job, education, and shopping opportunities.
I have been a resident of Nekoosa for nearly 18 years. It is a small town of roughly 2,000 people. The economy is declining and the population is shrinking as well as aging. It smells terrible due to the paper mill that is the main source of many people’s employment.
