A quaint, quiet town that houses a population of about 7,000 people. Most of the people are friendly, and there are local dine-ins and locations that make the town enjoyable. The place gives a homely vibe. It truly is a great place to visit and live in, especially if you do not enjoy bustling and urbanized areas. Nebraska City is definitely the place when it comes to that. Even then, it is still quite sociable when you involve yourself in the right areas.

Nebraska City has many beautiful parks and orchards. We celebrate Arbor Day which is all about trees and the planting of trees and their importance. We also celebrate Apple Jack in the fall which the orchards are booming with yummy foods and you can pick your own apples and test out different wines. There is a parade that draws a very large crowd with several craft shows and many vendors to meet and see what they offer. Also several local high school and middle school bands are in the parade. Nebraska City recently opened a new aquatic center summer 2016. Glad to see that added to Nebraska City. One thing I would like to see is improvement to the Softball Complex. Have several lights not working on a field which limits games. We have several softball and baseball players and need these facilities. Sometimes these fields are also used for little league football, soccer etc.. a who new facility would be nice. Nebraska City is a beautiful small town city!
I love how small it is but yet it's still big enough where there are multiple restaurants, stores, and parks. The apquatic center is amazing! I recommend going there in the summer. The only thing that needs to be changed is an important bridge has been closed for a couple years because it needs to be fixed, and no progress has been made
