I love Nazareth. It is a very safe area. It also is very close to many shopping centers as well as highways that you can take very easily to go into New Jersey or New York. You are close to the beaches in New Jersey. It is a very affordable place to live that is very safe and offers one of the best public schools in PA. There are many police officers out during the day and the night. Overall, Nazareth is a great place to start raising a family and raise kids. It is also a great place to live because of all the different places around the town. You can take day trips to various places and are a few minutes away from the Lehigh Valley Airport.
My experience within my small hometown of Nazareth has been relatively decent. The teachers at my schools have always been kind and highly intelligent with lots of knowledge to share. The students are kind to me for the most part, and I have been lucky enough to grow up in an enriching environment. It is very family friend and would be a great place to raise a family. It is for the most part safe, and crime rarely occurs here. However, I have been surrounded by primarily caucasians my entire life with little diversity. The minorities within my school sometimes face bullying because they are deemed as “different” than the rest of the school. Racial discrimination is noticeably everywhere in Nazareth. This is an issue that has been prevalent for my entire life. I would want more minorities to move into this area so that the students and residents of the town could experience a culturally diverse school.
I have lived in Nazareth for 7 years. I graduated from Nazareth area High School in 2019. I think the school system is outstanding; they prepared me very well for university. I would've liked to see more diversity in my school, but you can't control who lives where.
There are plenty of places to eat. Fast food, eat in, and pizza places. Nicer restaurants are near in Easton and Bethlehem.
It is growing very quickly. There are a bunch of houses currently being build by one of the parks.
There are many small businesses to work out. There are also lots of wear house jobs available in the area. We are also close to Jersey, so a lot of people commute to work from Nazareth to Jersey. Allentown is also about 20-30 minutes west.
